Looking after your fragrance
A quiet place for your bottle, and a few habits worth keeping.
A fragrance bottle does not need a complicated care routine. Follow its storage directions, keep it secure and make it easy to identify. A little care is more useful than displaying it somewhere hot or bright.
Choose a steady place
Keep the bottle upright, closed and away from direct sunlight, heaters and open flames. A shaded cupboard or drawer is a practical choice. Avoid leaving it in a hot car or on a sunny windowsill. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.
Keep the label
Keep the original label and any supplied instructions. If you receive a tester, retain its name so you can identify the scent later. Do not mix fragrances in an unlabelled bottle or transfer them into food or drink containers.
Travel with care
Close the bottle securely, keep it upright where possible and protect it from impact. A separate protective pouch can help contain a leak. Check your carrier’s current liquid and flammable-goods rules before travelling; this journal does not promise that any bottle is accepted by an airline.
Notice changes
If you notice leaking, a damaged atomiser or an unexpected change, stop and ask Hanro about it. Storage advice is not a guaranteed shelf life, and a change in appearance alone does not establish whether a product is suitable for use. Follow the supplied product information.
