The scent that lasts while you’re away.
Thoughtfully selected fragrances, made to leave a lasting impression.

Concept imagery — Yaarden’s own bottles will replace it.
Affordable elegance
It is also the care, effort and thought behind what you receive. Yaarden began with a simple belief: smelling exceptional shouldn’t be reserved for those who can spend thousands of Rand on a designer bottle.
So we select fragrances people love, present them with intention, and are honest about what they are: independent fragrances inspired by familiar designer scent profiles, made to feel considered, not cheap.
Each scent is chosen because people genuinely enjoy wearing that style of fragrance.
Every fragrance says plainly what it is inspired by. Nothing is dressed up as something it is not.
Small batches, consistent presentation and a real person to speak to.

The meaning of Yaarden
Yarden — ירדן — is the Hebrew name of the Jordan River, from a root associated with descending and flowing downward. It is the river in which Jesus of Nazareth was baptised.
The extra “a” gives Yaarden its own identity, while keeping the connection to the Jordan River, its Christian symbolism, flowing water and renewal.

No. Yaarden offers independent fragrances inspired by recognisable designer scent profiles. They are not manufactured by, or affiliated with, the original designer brands, and each fragrance is clearly labelled with what it is inspired by.
Small fragrance testers may be available by arrangement, depending on current stock. Ask when you enquire.
Pricing is shared personally. Use the enquiry button on any fragrance to message Yaarden directly, or speak to the founder in person.
Yaarden works with several bottle formats, including small testing bottles and larger spray bottles. Sizes and availability vary by fragrance and are confirmed when you enquire.
Longevity varies with the fragrance, its concentration, your skin, the environment and how it is applied. Yaarden doesn’t promise specific hours; the best way to judge is to try a fragrance on your own skin.
Yarden (ירדן) is the Hebrew name of the Jordan River, from a root associated with descending or flowing down. The founder, a Christian, chose the name because it came to him in a deeply personal way; the extra “a” makes it Yaarden’s own while keeping the connection. Read the full story on the Our Story page.
Not at the moment. Yaarden is a brand presentation and catalogue, not an online shop. There is no cart or checkout; arrangements are made directly with the founder.
