Fresh or warm? Finding your direction

Two broad families, and how to tell which one feels most like you.

If you are unsure where to begin, start with a simple question: do you reach for something crisp and clean, or something cosy and enveloping? Most fragrances lean one way or the other.

Fresh fragrances

Fresh scents are built around citrus, aquatic accords, green and aromatic notes. They feel light and clean, and are often a natural choice for warm weather, daytime and the workplace.

Warm fragrances

Warm scents lean on spice, amber, vanilla-like sweetness and woods. They feel rounder and more intimate, and tend to suit cooler weather and evenings.

Somewhere in between

Many of the most versatile fragrances sit between the two: a fresh opening settling onto a woody or spiced base. If you can’t decide, those are a good place to explore.

The Find Your Scent guide on this website uses exactly these preferences, plus a few more, to suggest fragrances from the Yaarden collection.
